The Chip Shop Awards is about fostering and recognising creativity with no boundaries and no rules. It’s an international creative awards, open to anyone with great ideas.
The skills of creative people are rare and therefore of high value. However, ongoing creativity needs to be worked at and nurtured. The Chip Shop Awards is about doing just that, on a worldwide stage.
The Chip Shop Awards aim to encourage creativity by adding more freedom to the creative process. This year’s nominations show the great work that can result when rules are broken, lines are crossed and risks are taken.
This exercise was carried out by Coolpink as an experiment to see how well our employees work together to produce ideas and creativity. It was a complete success! The added bonus is that we are now Chip Shop Award Finalists!
Our ‘This is not just any disability…’ ad takes a very well known brand slogan and uses it to outline a very serious disease, catching people’s attention and raising awareness.
Just think if we can spend an hour at lunch brainstorming for the Chip Shop Awards, what we can produce for clients given a longer time. The ideas that came up in the meeting were not just from the creative team at the company, but from everyone, from the MD to the support staff. It was a very eye opening activity that showcased the amazing talent that we have here at Coolpink.
