"Coolpink in Management Buy Out"

Award winning, full service digital agency, Coolpink, is pleased to announce the MBO of the company by founder and managing director, Mark Bower. The transaction sees Mark assume operational control of the company following the buy-out of co-directors, Simon Crossland, and Andrew Jones, who leave to pursue other interests.

“After the last couple of years of rapid growth, we took the opportunity to look at the investment structure and future of the company and review our own personal goals.” comments Mark.  “As a result, the MBO was agreed and we now have a new investor on board who puts the company in a much stronger position financially and shares our ambitious goals for driving the future growth of the business. Naturally, I’d like to thank Simon and Andrew for their invaluable contribution to the success of Coolpink since its inception in 2001 and I am extremely pleased that we remain on very good terms personally.”
The transaction was funded with equity from Whitston Group, the investment vehicle for entrepreneur Justin Whitston. As well as investing in established businesses, Whitson Group is looking to provide funding and operational support to new ventures.
“Coolpink have now become a leading player in the online agency market and their work is in demand by some of the UK’s biggest brands.” said Whitston. “We are extremely excited to be investing in such an intelligent and rapidly growing business.”
This latest move provides a springboard for more exciting future developments for Coolpink and will bolster its position as a key player in an expanding digital sector.
