For the first 5 years of his career, Tom worked on the client side of digital marketing. He returned to work for Corus after a year long university placement year where he worked within their largest division, Construction, as New Media Manager. His responsibilities included development of their main sector based website. Making the move from South to West Yorkshire, Tom worked as E-marketing Manager for Yorkshire’s Regional development agency, Yorkshire Forward. Here, he was responsible for the full spectrum of E-Marketing for the agency including email marketing, SEO, PPC and all website developments. Wanting to progress his career, he joined Coolpink in June 2009.
Outside of work Tom enjoys anything active; Gym, Football, Mountain Biking, Golf, etc etc. He also enjoys reading. Previous reads include Semiotics for Beginners by Daniel Chandler, body language for dummies, Neil Strauss’s the game and Tricks of the mind by Derren Brown. Aside from that he makes a mean curry!
