Project Summary

Coolpink were tasked with re-designing Benson's current website with a key emphasis on usability, improving a falling conversion rate and generating more sales. A fast turn around was needed from Coolpink.

Coolpink were also tasked to plan and manage Benson's online marketing strategy to drive qualified users to their site in line with a set cost per acquisition.

Bensons is Britain’s biggest bed specialist with over 220 outlets and over 50 years' heritage.

Project Aims

  • Full re-design was required to boost the falling conversion rates of the current site
  • Increase sales and repeat site visits through a carefully planned digital marketing strategy
  • To analyse and report on user behaviour across the site on an on-going basis and use this insight as a basis for continued improvement of the site and digital marketing strategy

Results

  • ROI - The initial site and marketing budgets were recuperated within the 12 weeks after launch with sales up by 28% on a month by month basis.
